Feral Cat Spay or Neuter (TNR)

TNR - trap, neuter, release

We are dedicated partners of good citizens that are interested in helping the feral cat populations by providing deep discounts on alteration procedures for feral cats.

TNR - trap, neuter, release - programs help to reduce feral cat populations and can facilitate reduction in the spread of disease. Our feral cat package includes the price of the anesthesia and surgery (including pain reducing laser therapy), a rabies vaccine, and 1 month application of topical parasite prevention. The left ear is notched as part of every procedure to ensure easy identification of altered animals so they are not trapped again.

Feral cats are brought to us Monday-Thursday in a trap.* Surgeries are worked into our schedule. This may mean the cat may stay with us for a night or two at no additional charge. The day the surgery is performed, the cat is picked up and released back to the area where they were trapped.

Clients bringing feral cats in are asked to call us ahead of time when they have trapped the cat and are on their way to us. We collect a surgical deposit at the time of drop off. The deposit does not cover the entire cost of the procedure, but will go towards the final charges for services provided.

*For the safety of all individuals handling the cat, we do not accept feral cats in a cat carrier or in any container other than a trap.
